Vintage door locks taken from demolished country farm houses. I found these in a recycle centre on the Central Coast. There was a box of about 20 of them and I selected seven without really knowing what I would do with them. I think I showed my excitement too quickly because I was charged too much for them.

I welded them together and then decided I would use them as the base of a lamp. I had  the old keys and strangely the old door knobs, and it just came together. Love it. A good capture of a bit of farmhouse history.
