This ‘ammo’ box used to transport and store army issue ammunition is interesting in that it was issued to the UN peace keeping forces around 1952 some time after WW2 finished.

It was in pretty bad shape but these boxes can take a fair beating and after it was cleaned up and the finish recovered the original yellow makings shone through.

The box is 45cm (18 inches) long and is just a beautiful industrial look. Far too good to hide in the shed with old tools stored inside.
