This vintage stucco monkey box, was rescued from the ‘outdated / discard pile’ mainly because of the patina of the galvanised tin and rusted fittings. It has a utilitarian feel about it and translates beautifully as an industrial object for display.

It has been cleaned and sealed to freeze the original finish and a stem added to fit an electrical lamp and shade if required.

The base is 30cm (12″) high and the overall height with shade is 60cm (24″).
